This area of the Correze, known as "little Canada", is very beautiful with many lakes, hills covered in wooded forests and miles of quiet country lanes ideal for walking, fishing and cycling. There are four leisure lakes within a 30-minute drive. The nearest is at Treignac 11 km and offers restaurants, lakeside beach, pedaloes, canoes, trampoline and other activities. Lac Vassivière, 40 km, is one of the largest man-made lakes in France and with 6 beaches, restaurants, tennis, water sports, boat trips (one boat has an on board restaurant) it makes an ideal place to spend a day.
