In the first hinterland, in a small country with 200 souls in the winter months Isolalunga, is the "FENE (R) A, which, translated into Italian by the Ligurian dialect, means BARN. THE Barn Once it was in effect a barn, a sort of warehouse where it was stored hay (dried grass) that farmers stored in warehouses in the summer for the winter supplies to feed the animals (cows, oxen, donkeys and mules ). These animals were once part of the community and of the economy of the country as they were used for working the land, for the transport of goods, in particular for the transport of the olives, and for the production of cheeses etc.

In this context we wanted to revive the old barn, obtaining a unique, intimate, warm, cozy, romantic, simple yet sophisticated, ancient almost magical.

The renovations were completed in August 2015.

To do this, we wanted to use all recycled ancient transmitting the experience, history. Were combined wood, iron and stone, strong materials, resistant, with a soul that changes and changes with time and the hand of man. Every single stone or piece of wood has been thoroughly tried and wanted, it took two years of hard work and passion, absolutely rewarded by the satisfaction in seeing a dream come true.

Entering through the old gate, which uses keys completely different from the traditional ones, you can see the large kitchen, with terracotta tiled floor and recovery from the deep red color, the kitchen is simple yet well equipped, with gas cooker five stove, convection oven, large marble sink, dishwasher, large pantry closet, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine, coffee maker, toaster, microwave etc. A large livingroom with TV, stereo, armchair and antique iron bed and beaten by a half square that serves as a sofa bed and all occurrence. A bathroom with a shower made from a millstone for grain, ancient marble sink, toilet, hair dryer, towels, etc.

The sleeping area is upstairs. the loft is completely made of cedar wood (typical tree that grows in the woods of Liguria), warm floor, absolutely enjoy walking barefoot.

On the mezzanine just below a window with a view of the sky is a fabulous double bed, from which you can enjoy the beautiful views of the town and a glimpse of the sky. Sheets and towels included,

Always on the mezzanine is located the second bathroom, with a sink antique iron, (on which a time was placed a basin and a jug with water to wash, now readjusted with a sink glass definitely the most practical of the basin.), A bathtub with legs in the style of Louis XVI for romantic and relaxing baths, a toilet, this room also has a large window with a view of the sky and land.

An old wood stove heated the house in the winter months, now replaced with a pellet stove very comfortable and warm.

Externally the property has a private courtyard (in ciappe slate Ligurian) of 60 square meters, completely fenced furnished with an iron table and slate, chairs, a marble sink, a shower crafts and flowers.

The BARN, to FENE (R) A is served by a private covered car park is located 20 meters from the house, those who have the bike you can instead park directly into the courtyard of the house in a special space dedicated protected by fence and gate .

A FENE (R) A is an ideal place for romantics, for those who want to enjoy the tranquility of village life, for those who like the old fireplace. But the barn, as well as warm and cozy nest, is also to be used as a strategic base for those who enjoy hiking in the mountains or by the fans of tanning and the sea because it is located near the sea and the mountains.
