La Casa de Luisa is a completely renovated town house located in the center of Santo Domingo de Silos. Cozy and quiet, it is the ideal accommodation for small gatherings of family or friends with children. The house has three bedrooms with a double bed and a children's bedroom with letters, with all bedrooms having their own bathroom. As for the common areas, the house has a fully equipped kitchen open to the dining area, a toilet and a large living room with views of San Pedro Street and the Plaza Mayor.

During the months of June to September it can also be rented by rooms, making it perfect for couples.

Places of interest

The town is considered a historical-artistic complex, the main enclave being the Benedictine Monastery, where you can visit some of its most important spaces, such as its prodigious Romanesque cloister or its religious art museum. The religious services of the monks offer the possibility of listening to Gregorian chant, a song of medieval origin with a heartfelt spirituality.

A walk through the town will bring us more surprises: traditional houses and noble mansions, the urban wall, the church of San Pedro, the Sounds of the World museum, the traditional laundry or the hermitage of the Virgen del Camino, from where you can contemplate a panoramic of the place and a beautiful sunset.

It also has spaces of natural interest such as the Yecla Desfiladero, a deep and narrow gorge excavated in the limestone through which the visitor can enter through a series of hanging walkways, or the Mirandilla Valley, where is located the cemetery of Sad Hill, setting for Sergio Leone's film "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".

Silos is a small Castilian town that forms, together with neighboring Lerma and Covarrubias, the so-called "Arlanza Triangle", a region with a great historical heritage and a fundamental role in the history of Castile.

It is located 59 km from Burgos, 39 km from Aranda de Duero, 95 km from Soria and 210 km from Madrid.
