You will be transported, as if by magic, this manor dating from the 15th century and built on the ruins of a 12th century castle. There are still some vestiges on the spot. 

The chimneys, roofs and openings are registered on the list of historical monuments. 

The dining room dallee of stones, has an impressive monumental chimney. 

On the 1st floor, the children will have a great time in the large dormitory, paved with old tiles and adorned with another fireplace with beautiful jambs.

You can "coo" in the old dovecote, turns into a double room ...

This mansion, also called Noble House, was the home of royal notaries in the 17th century. Notarial deeds have been found, attesting to this. A notary in particular was responsible for recovering the tax on salt: the salt tax, then was accountable to the Marquis de Couhe Verac. Indeed, this manor belonged to "lady of Jousseran", wife of the marquis. 

In the 12th century, there existed in this place a fortress that was destroyed by the English during the 100 years war, in about 1400 ... and then, the right wing of the manor was built in the 15th century with the stones of the castle. 

This is why we can admire 2 monumental 15th century chimneys, listed on the list of historical monuments ... a watchman's seat, salt caches and 2 "kitchen gardens" - one in the dining room and another in the kitchen. We took the embers of the chimney and put them in the grids of the kitchen garden to simmer good food and the ashes fell below.
